Normally, many people touch the plastic boxes and this can be a major source of infection, but with the new solution, all boxes are sanitized after each use. The sanitization systems are installed in several places where many people are present, and new products have also been developed specifically to suit airports.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 It is based on safe and well-tested technology where we use UV light to sanitize contact surfaces and air without chemicals, says Erik Wikstr\u00f6m, co-founder of Whitebox, the company that supplies the sanitization systems.<\/p>\n<p>At Norrland University Hospital in Ume\u00e5, the technology that Whitebox uses in its products has been tested to ensure the safety of the products.<\/p>\n<p>-The technology has been tested on Covid-19 and the underlying virus of the SARS COV-2 pandemic.
