After a long break, it is now possible to book charter flights directly from Skellefte\u00e5 Airport to Thailand with the travel company. Since the announcement that Thailand is now welcoming Swedish tourists without quarantine requirements, the number of travel bookings with TUI has increased significantly and from Skellefte\u00e5 the booking situation is well above the Swedish average. The first flight departs in February.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thailand is a big favorite among Swedes and the last direct flight from Skellefte\u00e5 to Thailand was with TUI in the winter of 2019. After this, there has been a long break due to the pandemic. But now at the end of October, the news came that Thailand will now welcome Swedish tourists from November 1st without quarantine requirements.<\/p>\n

After the announcement, the number of travel bookings increased significantly.
\nAnd Skellefte\u00e5 tops the list, where the booking situation is twice as high compared to the rest of Sweden in terms of the number of seats booked per flight.<\/p>\n

Direct flights to Thailand from Skellefte\u00e5 Airport were so successful when they were offered during the winter of 2019 that TUI has now chosen to offer them again. The departures are to both Krabi Airport and Phuket Airport.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Skellefte\u00e5 is in an incredible growth phase with large establishments and an increased population.
