Next year, Ving is focusing on popular charter departures to Swedes' favorite islands in the Mediterranean. The last time the tour operator offered direct charters to Mallorca from Skellefte\u00e5 Airport was in 2019, but in the spring and summer of 2023 it will become a reality again. In addition, Ving is also offering direct charters from Skellefte\u00e5 to Gran Canaria next winter.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Ving will fly to Mallorca with BRA, which the tour operator entered into a partnership with last summer. The first departure will take place on April 29th and then departures will be offered every Saturday until June 17th. The route will open again on August 5th and continue into the fall until September 30th.<\/p>\n

\u2013 It has been three years since we last offered trips from Skellefte\u00e5, but now we are making a big investment with 17 departures to Mallorca next summer. We know that Skellefte\u00e5 is growing like crazy and therefore it feels important that we can offer good and expanded holiday connections, from the local home airport directly to the immensely popular Mallorca, says Claes Pellvik, Head of Communications at Ving.<\/p>\n

Ving's focus on direct flights is also an appreciated initiative for Skellefte\u00e5 Airport:<\/p>\n

\u2013 The Skellefte\u00e5 region is in a very expansive phase and through rapid population growth the need for holiday travel is also increasing. We are therefore very pleased about the large establishment that Ving is now presenting in Skellefte\u00e5. Our central location in northern Norrland is optimal for charter travel so I am convinced that the flights to Mallorca will be a great success, says Robert Lindberg, CEO of Skellefte\u00e5 Airport.<\/p>\n

New for this year is that Ving also offers winter trips from Skellefte\u00e5 to Gran Canaria, starting on December 19th this winter until April 3rd next spring.<\/p>\n

\u2013 We know that the demand for trips from Skellefte\u00e5 is great and therefore it feels fantastic that Ving can offer charters even during the winter season. We have a wide range of hotels in Gran Canaria and the stable weather allows for everything from sun and swimming to exciting excursions such as hiking in the mountains, says Claes Pellvik, Head of Communications at Ving.<\/p>\n
