{"id":831,"date":"2023-11-06T11:52:11","date_gmt":"2023-11-06T11:52:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/skellefteaairport.se\/redan-fler-passagerare-pa-skelleftea-airport-an-hela-2019-och-2022\/"},"modified":"2025-08-06T05:05:21","modified_gmt":"2025-08-06T05:05:21","slug":"already-more-passengers-at-skelleftea-airport-than-in-all-of-2019-and-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/skellefteaairport.se\/en\/already-more-passengers-at-skelleftea-airport-than-in-all-of-2019-and-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Already more passengers at Skellefte\u00e5 Airport than in all of 2019 and 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The number of travelers traveling to or from Skellefte\u00e5 Airport continues to increase.<br \/>\nUp until the month of October, 290,697 travelers have traveled to or from Skellefte\u00e5, which means that the airport has already had more travelers than in both the entire years of 2019 and 2022. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is noticeable that the green transition in Skellefte\u00e5 is in need of good air connections.<br \/>\nSkellefte\u00e5 Airport is today one of the few airports in Sweden that shows growth that is higher than in 2019, before the corona pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Up until October, 290,697 travelers have used the airport, which is 71,273 (+32.5 %) more than in 2022 and 49,866 (+20.7%) more than in 2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The monthly statistics for October also show growth in travel as the airport had 31,756 travelers, which is one of the best October months in the airport&#039;s history.<br \/>\nThe increase in October 2023 compared to 2019 was +2,093 (+6.8%) and compared to 2022 was +5,236 travelers (+19.1%)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This means that Skellefte\u00e5 Airport is one of the fastest growing airports in the Nordic region and the development is expected to continue.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 S<em>Kellefte\u00e5 Airport has a fantastic increase in passengers and we believe we will reach approximately 345,000 travelers before the end of the year. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The increase is of course due to the regional growth in Skellefte\u00e5 municipality, which is in great need of good passenger transport, says Robert Lindberg, CEO of Skellefte\u00e5 Airport.<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Antalet resen\u00e4rer som reser till eller fr\u00e5n Skellefte\u00e5 Airport forts\u00e4tter att \u00f6ka.
