Norwegian continues to develop its route network and in June the new route between Stockholm Arlanda and Skellefte\u00e5 was launched, with a premiere at the end of October. Between 28 October 2024 and 29 April 2025, the route will operate five days a week; on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. From 30 April the number of departures will be increased to six days a week, every day except Saturdays. This means 6,000 more flight seats in the summer program compared to the winter program.<\/p>\n

\u2013We are pleased that our establishment between Stockholm and Skellefte\u00e5 has received such a positive welcome and we look forward to contributing to increased accessibility to and from the Skellefte\u00e5 region. The fact that we are increasing the number of departures to spring 2025 is due to the high demand and need for increased competition on the route between Skellefte\u00e5 and Stockholm. We look forward to starting operations on the route at the end of October and welcoming passengers on board, says Magnus Thome Maursund, Chief Commercial Officer at Norwegian<\/p>\n

\u2013The Skellefte\u00e5 region has grown significantly since the turn of the year and we have the country's lowest unemployment, which means that the need for good air communications is great. Skellefte\u00e5 is today a driving force for the green transition and this development will continue.
\nHaving access to good infrastructure with good accessibility to the outside world is therefore an important piece of the puzzle in the entire societal transformation. It is therefore very pleasing that we are already receiving news of increased air traffic with Norwegian, says Robert Lindberg, CEO of Skellefte\u00e5 Airport<\/p>\n

An exception to the expansion that starts on April 30 is that between weeks 25 and 33, the route will operate five days a week, every day except Wednesdays and Saturdays.<\/p>\n
