Tour operator Apollo reports a sales increase of 70 percent to the Greek mainland.

Sales of summer trips for 2026 are already in full swing – and from Skellefteå, Apollo is seeing a new record. The tour operator offers direct flights to both Crete and Preveza in Greece, where the latter has already sold an impressive 70 percent more compared to the same time last year.

This year, the route was fully booked long before the school holidays started. For next summer, Apollo has therefore added an extra departure, meaning the season will start as early as May 4th.

Parga – most popular

One of the biggest advantages of the Greek mainland is the sheer number of choices. Apollo offers a whopping 12 different resorts across the popular region – from romantic Parga and lively Sivota to pristine Paleros and fabulous Zagoria.

From Skellefteå, it is Parga that clearly stands out as the absolute most popular destination. This year, the holiday resort was followed by Sivota – but for 2026, genuine Lefkas looks set to take second place.
