Apollo invests heavily with expanded charter from Skellefteå

Charter operator Apollo has expanded both departures and destinations from Skellefteå over the years and will continue this effort until the 2026 summer season.…
In 2026, Apollo will increase the number of flight departures from Skellefteå to the popular destinations of Lefkas/Parga and Chania.

Tour operator Apollo has long been established at Skellefteå Airport and their trips to popular Greek holiday destinations are very popular. Since this year's trips to Lefkas/Parga and Rhodes have had very strong bookings, Apollo has now decided to significantly increase the number of departures and flight seats from Skellefteå for the summer season 2026. During the spring of 2026, Apollo will fly six departures to Lefkas/Parga and during the autumn of 2026, they will fly eight departures to Chania on the popular island of Crete.

  • We are so happy that Apollo continues to develop the charter offer from Skellefteå. The Greek resorts of Lefkas and Parga are very popular destinations and to also be able to offer Chania and Crete to our travelers again is very pleasing. Crete has lively cities, charming villages and fantastic beaches that will certainly be appreciated by sun-loving travelers from northern Sweden, says Skellefteå Airport CEO Robert Lindberg.
  • Apollo chooses to continue investing in Skellefteå. We have had a great demand for this year's trips and therefore we are happy to be able to offer more departures, more airline seats and a new old destination from Skellefteå in 2026. With our trips to Lefkas/Parga and Chania, we have an offer that will certainly be very popular, says Martina Krantz, press officer at Apollo

The trips to Lefkada and Parga will start on May 11, 2026 and continue until June 15, 2026.

The trips to Chania will start on August 10, 2026 and last until September 28, 2026.

All trips are bookable.
