The residents of Skellefteå are longing for sun and warmth during the autumn holidays. This is shown by new booking figures from TUI, which reports on crowded flights to the charter favorite Rhodes.
Thousands of Swedes will be traveling to southern latitudes this coming week. According to travel company TUI, autumn holiday trips from Skelleftea Airportfully booked.
– The autumn holidays are one of the most travel-intensive weeks of the year and many families with children in particular choose to travel during this period. They often plan and book their autumn holiday trip well in advance. Our charter departures from Skellefteå are fully booked next week, says Dian Martinez Valencia, communications manager at TUI.

High demand for travel throughout the country
TUI also reports fully booked flights in several parts of the country. Most Swedish autumn holiday travellers this year travel to Gran Canaria, Cyprus and Tenerife.
