Skellefteå Airport and the newly started company The flight restaurant in Skellefteå AB has has entered into a cooperation agreement regarding the restaurant and food selection at the airport. Behind the new venture is the well-known Skellefteå entrepreneur Åke Persson, who also runs ICA Maxi.
-Together with Skellefteå Airport, we have high ambitions and want to develop the food selection and service at the airport, says Åke Persson.
The new restaurant will open its doors on May 1st with a wide range of food and drinks and pastries from its own bakery. There are also plans to build a lounge in a quieter environment. The restaurant will also offer travelers and residents of Skellefteå and the surrounding area a new delivery point for groceries ordered via ICA online.
-Pre-order food, flowers and other goods online and pick them up at the airport upon arrival, it couldn't be easier. For accommodations near the airport, this also means a convenient solution as there will be a new delivery point for ICA Maxi, says Åke Persson.
