Apollo's new flight routes give Skellefteå more Greek destinations to visit

After the corona pandemic, passenger numbers from Skellefteå Airport have increased sharply. The region's growth, an optimal geographical location and the possibility of free parking are some of the reasons for the strong expansion.

Now the tour operator Apollo is presenting four new destinations directly from Skellefteå.
On May 8, 2023, the first flight with sun-loving northerners will take off to Preveza airport where you can reach Parga, Sivota and Lefkas. The opportunity to easily reach Apollo's success for an active holiday; Sivota Retreat, powered by Playitas is now also available with direct flights from Skellefteå. After the high summer, flights to Heraklion on the popular island of Crete will start on August 18.

– It feels great to be able to offer several new features with direct flights from Skellefteå. Parga, Sivota, Lefkada and Crete are some of our most popular Greek destinations. The fact that it will also be easier from the northern part of Sweden to reach our popular Sivota Retreat, powered by Playitas also feels extra fun because an active holiday is incredibly popular, says Sandra Miller Kinge, Head of Communications at Apollo.

– We are very happy about this establishment. The range of charter flights from Skellefteå Airport is constantly increasing and being able to offer these popular destinations with Apollo is fantastic fun. Since we also offer the possibility of free parking, we hope that the flights will be booked quickly, says Skellefteå Airport's CEO Robert Lindberg.
