A new charter operator is being established at Skellefteå Airport.
Starting this fall, the Nordic charter operator Aventours will fly sun-seeking northerners to Cyprus and Rhodes from Skellefteå Airport. Aventours focuses on charter travel from regional airports and now sees a market in a growing Skellefteå.
Skellefteå is growing fastest in the country and the increasing population is also creating an increased market for charter travel.
The Nordic charter operator Aventours has therefore decided to start charter operations from Skellefteå Airport as well as some other regional airports in the country already this fall.
Aventours, part of the Nordic Aventura tour operator group, flies tourists from rural areas by direct flights to several Mediterranean destinations.
Aventours has an experience of over a decade in travel and tourism, and is a specialized in flights from regional airports. After a successful start in Finland, the group now wants to expand its operations to the Swedish market, starting with Skellefteå, Örnsköldsvik and Jönköping. The head office is located in Vantaa, Finland, and from there customers are served in Swedish by experienced travel industry professionals. The destinations have Swedish-speaking staff and reliable partners.
