Charter company Ving has decided to offer direct flights from Skellefteå Airport to one of Europe's most popular destinations, Mallorca. The flights will take place in the spring and autumn of 2023 and are made possible through a new collaboration between Ving and the airline BRA.
The Spanish destination of Mallorca is one of the most popular travel destinations from Skellefteå. Now, charter operator Ving has announced that it will be investing heavily in trips to Mallorca from Skellefteå Airport. The trips will take place during the spring and autumn seasons of 2023. The spring season starts on April 29 and runs until June 17, the autumn season starts on August 5 and runs until September 30. In total, Ving will operate 17 flights to the popular tourist destination.
The basis for the major investment is a new cooperation agreement between Ving and the airline BRA, which will operate the flights with modern Airbus 319s.
Both companies have ambitious sustainability goals that, together with Skellefteå Airport's successful climate work, provide good conditions for more sustainable travel.
Right from the start, all travelers will be able to reduce their travel impact by purchasing biofuel for their destination.

Earlier this spring, Ving announced that it would be offering flights to Gran Canaria for the first time this coming winter, and now that flight series is being expanded with 17 new departures to Mallorca.
